Built for macOS

Your game library deserves
better than a folder of icons.

Marquee gathers every game scattered across CrossOver, Steam, Epic, GOG, and your Applications folder into one glowing, coverflow-style shelf — the launcher the Mac was quietly owed for twenty years.

The engine, undressed

It's not a list. It's a shelf.

Somewhere between a Nintendo channel menu and a mid-2000s console dashboard, the game launcher grew up and stopped getting invited to the Mac. Marquee brings the coverflow back — real 3D, real spring physics, no screenshots required to prove it. (Okay, one is coming up.)

Why it exists

Everything a launcher should have done from the start.

Marquee isn't a skin on top of Steam. It's the shelf that sits above all of them.

One shelf, every source

CrossOver, Steam, Epic, GOG, and native Mac games — auto-discovered and merged into a single library. No manual list-building.

Carousel, Grid, Wall, List

Four ways to browse your library, switchable instantly. However you like to shop for a game at 11pm, Marquee has the view for it.

Live search & smart sort

Type and the shelf reorganizes itself in real time. Sort by A–Z, most played, playtime, last played, or platform — the carousel keeps up.

Rich detail pages

Screenshots, trailers, publisher, genre, file size, and real accumulated playtime — pulled automatically, no data entry required.

Ambient music player

A built-in soundtrack with a live FFT visualizer, weighted shuffle, and session-aware fades — it gets out of the way the second you hit play.

Zero telemetry

No account, no analytics SDK, no ad network. Your library lives in UserDefaults on your Mac and nowhere else. See our privacy policy — it's short.

Rainbow Slide

A second 3D view mode modeled on the Wii Menu's channel wheel — covers ride a continuous rim past the camera instead of a flat carousel arc.

Couch Mode

A full-screen, console-style pause menu reaches every setting and action with zero menu bar — launch at login, boot straight into fullscreen, controller-only.

Bring your own library

Drag any app or Windows exe straight onto the window — Plex, emulators, a one-off .exe — and it joins the shelf. Remove it just as easily, whenever you like.

Updates itself

Marquee checks its own GitHub releases and can download, install, and relaunch in place — couch users never touch a terminal to stay current.

Grid view

For when you already know what you're looking for.

A dense, browsable poster wall with source badges on every tile — favorites float to the front, and search greys out everything that doesn't match as you type.

  • Adaptive tiles that scale to your window
  • Branded source badges at a glance
  • Full keyboard, mouse, and controller nav

List view

A master/detail view with its own spinning 3D box art.

Browse a compact row list on the left; the right panel renders a real-time 3D box for whatever's highlighted, plus everything you need to decide what to play tonight.

  • Publisher, release date, genre, file size
  • Real playtime tracking, not just launch counts
  • Play / Favorite / Hide, one keypress away

Detail page

Trailers, screenshots, and metadata — automatically.

Open any game and Marquee pulls its screenshots and trailer straight from the Steam store, no matter which storefront actually owns the install.

  • eShop-style trailer playback with scrubbing
  • Browse your whole library without backing out
  • One PLAY button, regardless of the storefront

Couch Mode

A console pause menu that never needs a menu bar.

Press Esc, a controller's Menu button, or the gear icon and a full-screen, PlayStation-style overlay reaches every setting and action in the app — including checking for updates — with zero mouse required.

  • Launch at Login + Start in Full Screen — boots straight into your library
  • Full controller remapping, two presets or fully custom
  • Self-updating — a Mac mini under the TV never needs a keyboard, ever
